History of Evolution Gaming

Evolution was first established in 2006 and revolutionised the live dealer casino landscape bringing with it a fresh impetus in a fledging new industry that's now found its place as one of the leading products for many online casinos. A state of the art TV production studio complete with real casino tables and dealers was setup as part of their initial product suite.

By 2007 Evolution Gaming had signed contracts with some of the biggest names in the online casino world with Gala Coral, PartyGaming, William Hill, Blue Square, Gaming VC, Expekt and VC Bet all jumping on board with their initial offering of live casino products.

Following on to 2009 and a massive demand saw Evolution grow to four times its original size as contracts came in from 888, Sky Bet, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power making them a true power house in the live casino market.

Things then went from good to great for this Riga based startup as they expanded their live casino studios to start catering for dedicated, co-branded live casino tables for their biggest licencees and picked up the EGR Live Casino Software Supplier award in 2010. 

In 2011 Evolution Gaming also became the first approved and licenced provider of live casino software in Italian regulated market with a licence from the AAMS Italian casino licencing authority. Live Casino Hold'em was launched in 2012 and in 2013 Evolution celebrated their 100th live table to be opened. 

As yet another marker of success Evolution picked up another prestigious EGR award, this time receiving the EGR Game of the Year Award 2014 to cap off a year that saw the launch of a new live casino studio on the sunny island of Malta. 2015 has been another big year for Evolution Gaming with a new Immersive Roulette product launching in February followed by a public listing on the Nasdaq First North Premier in Stockholm in March. 

We're yet to see whats in store for 2016 but with a new product just recently announced called Dual Play Roulette we are expecting to see exciting things as we look forward into the new year.
